Catechists and sponsors provide an opportunity for unbaptized persons or those baptized in other faiths to be initiated into the Roman Catholic Church.
Gifts Desired: Willingness to share our Catholic faith, to learn, and to journey with those who seek initiation.

• Commitment: Become a journey partner in the initiation process. OCIA meetings are held on Monday at 7:00 pm. Also attend Mass with initiation candidates as scheduled.

Adults: The normal process for adults baptized in another Christian denomination is the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults). This process may also be appropriate for adults baptized Catholic who have not received Eucharist and Confirmation. Contact the Parish Office at 302-378-5800 to inquire about coming into full communion with the Catholic Church.
